WHAT IS THE TABERNACLE?
In Old Testament times, the children of Israel were commanded to build a tabernacle, a dwelling place for the Lord. Two replicas of this tabernacle will be touring the Utah Area in 2022-2023. They will be displayed for 2-4 weeks at a time in 22 different locations.
In addition to the Tabernacle Replica there is a Visitors’ Center that will be set up in the meetinghouse adjacent to the replica.

WHAT ARE TOURS LIKE?
A tour lasts for about 45 minutes. It includes 8 different stations, with a tour guide at each station giving a 3-5 minute explanation. The tours are given primarily by Youth ages 12-18 and Young Single Adults. At the time of this overview, over 15,000 youth have been trained and the Tabernacle Replica has already been to three locations in Utah. Over 105,000 people have participated in this experience!

Our vision is to bring the people of the Utah Area closer to their Savior by providing church and community members an opportunity to follow the prophet’s counsel to better understand temple covenants and ordinances.
